As you may know, many young Filipinos in the GTA are not finishing grade 12 nor aspiring to get into universities to gather the knowledge and skills to improve their career options. UPAAT would like to change that through a mentorship program.

We would like to invite you to another professional networking event with UPAAT members on March 29, 6:30 pm at 250 Wellington Street, Toronto. Our goal for this event is to connect young Filipinos to UPAAT professionals who can give them advice on what it’s like to work in a particular industry, how to get in the industry and how to be successful.

The event will kick off with a speed mentoring activity: 2-3 students will be paired with one mentor every 5 minutes. We’ve invited 20+ Filipino students (undergraduate and high school students) to rotate in getting advice from all 8 UPAAT professionals. We also have a speaker for the night, Evelyn Juan, a UPAAT member with a successful career in journalism and public relations who will inspire us with her career journey. Networking will follow these activities.

For those who've experienced it before, the networking during these events is very useful and fun! On top of that, you get an opportunity to connect and provide insights and experiences to help young Filipinos reach their full potential and get fulfilling careers!
Please register for the event here: https://goo.gl/forms/5iZwtKR8IW7woX3E2

Registration is 25$ via cheque or e-transfer (upaaexec@gmail.com) or 30$ at the door. Dinner and drinks are included.
